Flashback Friday #33

I skipped last week's Flashback Friday... but today I'm back to share a picture of me and my sister from when we were toddlers!

I'm not sure the year of this picture... but I think I was between 2 and 3 yrs old ('85/'86).
(I'm on the right)

See my hair?
Yeah.
My hair didn't start really growing out until I was 4.
So, my lovely sister convinced me that I was a boy because I had boy hair!
Seriously.
I believed her.
I went crying to my mom about it...
which, of course, she laughed about (behind my back too, I'm sure) but assured me that I WAS a girl.
Guess I wasn't really in touch with the whole anatomy thing at that age.
HAHA!
Anyway.
Every time I look at this picture... I always think I'm singing that old sunday school song "Deep and Wide"!

  2. Haha! This is so cute! Big sisters are so mean! I'm the big sister in my family and we convinced our baby brother that he was a troll and on his 5th birthday his "Troll Family" was coming back to bring him home. Poor kid cried the whole night before his birthday thinking he'd be turned back into a troll the next day! Haha!

  4. I'm totally the mom dresses her kids up in the same outfits like that, only for daily activities, nit just pictures. Yeah, my kids might be 4 years apart, but I don't care. My husband utterly and completely hates it.

You definatly don't look like a boy. Its ok though, I was bald as a cue ball until I was like 2. I'm the oldest of four though, so I didnt have any older siblings to tell me I was a boy :)

  5. OMG, those matchy matchy outfits are the best! Don't worry, my sister used to like to tell me that my parents found me behind a dumpster and brought me home. Forget that we all look alike. You are adorable in that pic!!
