A Day at Grammie's!

 Eloise just LOVES Grammie's horses!
And surprisingly, Dinah likes them too!

Beyond thrilled to be riding Cowboy!

It's always fun to visit!

If you haven't visited my sister's blog lately...
go to THIS post and check out the pictures of
Eloise having some fun in a puddle!

Happy 5 years to my LOVE!

Time doesn't stand still like this picture, that's for sure!

More Eloise-isms

El: "I don't want to eat this cheese cuz it smells like Dinah's toes!"

El: "Maybe we can see Grammie's turtle!"
Me: "No... I think he's gone.  I think he ran away."
El: "No... he's a turtle.  He just walked.  Sloooowly.  He doesn't run."

El: "There's a baby in your belly.  I think it's going to come out of that belly button!"

Eloise-isms

  • The other night we looked out into the back yard and saw some bunnies.  One of the bunnies lifted it's back leg and started scratching his ear.  I said, "Look!  It's scratching!"  Then I look over to Eloise, who is waving out the window.  She says, "No, he's just waving at me!"

  • Me (smelling a major stink): "Dinah, did you poop?"  Eloise: "It's just my feet."  (It was Dinah, by the way!)

10 Weeks

(Ultrasound from 4/9/14)

Yesterday I had my 10 week check up....
and all is well as far as we know!
Luckily my horrible nausea has died down
quite a bit and I am feeling semi-normal.
Now, if only I could get a good nights sleep......

The girls have been busy playing!
We've had some nice days to play outside,
which is definitely a welcome change!

What a treat!
Eloise got to help feed my parents horses when we were out for a visit!

We talked to some contractors about adding on to our little house to make room for Baby!  We are waiting to hear back about the estimate and hope to have construction start sometime over the summer.  I was hoping to get a kitchen re-do as well, but it looks like that will have to wait awhile!  The most important thing is the addition getting done by November!

Cory's dad has an MRI on Monday - we're praying for good results!
And we are awaiting results from a CT scan Cory had on Monday for a possible tumor behind his right ear.  Despite the worries, we are trying to think positively and and praying for good results there as well!
