Today was my 36 week appointment...
I know, you're probably sick of hearing about
these appointments and pregnancy stuff.
But only a few more weeks and then
I'll be bombarding you with BABY talk!

I've waited my whole life for this.
It's all I've ever wanted... and now that it's
almost here, it almost doesn't seem real.

A good friend of mine reminded me a
few months ago that I'm living my dream.

How right she was.
And I often find myself thinking of that very
fact when I am getting up to go to the bathroom for
the 12th time in the middle of the night.

Or when I can hardly walk because of the pain
from the baby "lightening".

Or when I'm bored out of my mind, cooped up in the
house with little or nothing to do because there
is only so much I can do!
(Among other things)

I have truly been blessed... and am excited for this
next stage in life!!
(Thanks for the reminder Julie!)

Oh yeah, and my appointment went well.
I've gained 22 lbs to date.
Not thrilled about it... but satisfied.

Now... what I was really meaning to write this post about..
is this..

Obviously I wasn't going to post a picture of the candy before I ate it.
That sucker didn't last 30 seconds after I got in my car!

The wrapper will just have to do.

And I post this to say... ALREADY?

The stores are not only lining the shelves with
Valentine's crap...
they're busting out the Easter stuff!

It seriously gets worse every year, I tell ya!
We're only 4 days into the new year...

It's ridiculous!

But... that Cadbury Creme Egg was quite delicious!
Can't really complain about that!

  1. Oh man. WHY! I'm determined to be at my goal weight by my birthday, and THESE THINGS GET ME EVERY YEAR! I love them. I can't help it.

Good luck in the upcoming weeks! I know you're already a wonderful Mother, and I can't wait to see pictures of your new baby!

  2. 36 weeks, so exciting! Not much longer...wow. :)

I think you did very well with your weight gain, good job!!

It is ridiculous how fast they go from one holiday to the next in stores.

  3. I can hardly wait!
    Almost full term momma!

and those 22lbs will be gone before you know it.
Especially because you'll be too consumed with a precious little bundle of a dream to even remember to grab the cadberry eggs at the grocery store.

Hopefully hubs is sweet enough to remember to pick you up some ;)

  4. 36 weeks! Sounds like your little one will be here soon! Congrats!

  5. Hi Nen! I usually send you an email in reply, but I wasn't sure you get them, because I've never gotten a reply back. So I decided to comment instead.
It is not a polaroid camera, but it is the same exact idea.
It is a Fujifilm Instax 210. If you search for it at Amazon you will see more about how they work!
I just love it. It is so nice to have instant photos!
Thanks for your comment! Hope you are having a great day!

  6. Oh my I like those yummy eggs to. Just a few days before Christmas I was still shopping for Christmas gifts & to my surprise I found bathing suits in our JC Penny store. All that valentive & easter candy at walmart might just have alot of folks not fitting into the bathing suits if they already got them. LOL. You will not have much longer to be board. I am sure we will all enjoy hearing about your little blessing! Wishing you a short & easy labor. Blessings!

  7. Haha, I was reading this and when you said "a friend reminded me that I'm living my dream." I thought yay, that's me! :) I think it's great that you think about that and can enjoy in so many moments in the day that this is what you've been waiting for and blessed by/with! Your pregnancy will be over before you realize it and can even blink and you'll be holding your precious little one in your arms and thinking how it was worth it all. I am so happy for you and can't wait to be bombarded with baby news! First smile, first giggle, first shenanigans...hehe. So close!

  8. I remember a few months before you found out you were pregnant, you posted quite a bit on wanting a baby in the worst way. It's so wonderful and exciting to be this close, and the thought of being "mommy"? Pretty awesome stuff.

I am so excited for you . . . and to see photos of the little one! :)

Thanks for stopping by! I love to hear what you have to say!
