Weaver at the Loom... that would be ME!

I started off the other day with good intentions on getting things rolling with my Loom. Then, I realized I was missing a tool that is used to thread the yarn through the loom. So I procrastinated all day on it... until the evening when a light bulb went off in my head and I remembered exactly where to look! Needless to say, I found the tool without a hitch! Sooooo... I started the next day. Unfortunately, the yellow yarn that I was going to use ended up being one big tangled mess when I tried to thread it on the loom. So... I yanked it all back out and started fresh, using the yellow yarn as my weft. Here are some pics of the progression. I know it looks like a confusing mess... but it really wasn't and I have gotten quite a bit more done than what is shown (I just haven't taken a picture yet).

This is the yarn I decided to use instead of the yellow:

This is after I had threaded the yarn through the Reed:

This is when I started threading it through the Heddles:

Tied on to the front and back beams, ready to go!

The beginnings of a scarf!

I am enjoying getting back to the loom... I hope my motivation and interest stick for awhile!!
