Easter Morning was spent as a family...
the girls searched for their baskets and were
pleased with the few goodies they received.

Oh, Easter grass!!!
How I loathe you... but the girls think you're great!

It was hard to get a good picture of the girls together.
They wouldn't cooperate!
After church, we visited the neighbors before leaving to visit Cory's folks!

The girls got a few Easter gifts from the neighbors and
these chairs have been a big hit!

It was nice to visit with Cory's parent and to see them laugh!
The girls enjoyed playing with the toys and with the dog!

Cory's grandma used to decorate all sorts of eggs and Cory's mom
decided to pull them out this year to decorate.
The girls really liked to look at all of the hand-done designs!
(So did I!)

For us... Easter isn't about the bunny, baskets or the eggs...
though we do enjoy the fun of it.

Most importantly...

As you can imagine... the first trimester thus far has left me not feeling so spectacular.  Though instead of complaining... I will say that I am thankful for a husband who picks up my slack! And a mother-in-law who is willing to do my dishes (when I can't stand the smell of the dish soap or the dirty dishes!.... We don't have a dishwasher) and watches my girls when I have appointments.  And wonderful neighbors who also pitch in!  Especially when we take the girls out to play in the nice weather (thank goodness for spring!!!).  Our neighbors come out to visit and it really helps take the pressure off of me to have to run around and chase the girls every single second!  I am also thankful for my side of the family who gives me sanity by talking to me on the phone!  Normally we try to visit with them each week, but since some of my sister's kids and my mom have been under-the-weather it has been nice to at least have some human contact via the phone lines!

All that said... I have actually been feeling semi-decent the past few days and have been able to enjoy my days a lot more than the past couple of weeks.  We had a bit of a cold spell but when it's nice out we like to go out and fly Eloise's kite!  She does a pretty good job on her own!

We've also been enjoying sidewalk chalk!

And sunshine!

I am looking forward to more sunny days and feeling better!

This is No April Fools....

I apologize for the ending.  I spent a bunch of time trying to figure out how to edit the original video, which included our last name (that we shared with friends and family).  This was as good as I could get it!!
