Dear Devon, I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Pray God walks with you and gives you strength and peace at this sensitive time. God Bless x
Dear Devon, I have been thinking of you all. Nine years ago I lost my Nan, she was not only my Nan but my mother figure as my birth mother left when I was a child. When I lost Nan my pain was indescribable I could not put it into words. A family member sent me these words which I drew great comfort from as they were very fitting to her. I am sending them to you and Cory, it is a day at a time with grief. God Bless x
Miss me, but let me go: When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no tears in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little – But not for long And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me – But let me go. For this is a journey we all must take, And each must go alone, It’s all a part of the Master’s plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart Go to your friends that we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good works, Miss me – But let me go.
