Living the Small Town Life

As you can imagine... the first trimester thus far has left me not feeling so spectacular.  Though instead of complaining... I will say that I am thankful for a husband who picks up my slack! And a mother-in-law who is willing to do my dishes (when I can't stand the smell of the dish soap or the dirty dishes!.... We don't have a dishwasher) and watches my girls when I have appointments.  And wonderful neighbors who also pitch in!  Especially when we take the girls out to play in the nice weather (thank goodness for spring!!!).  Our neighbors come out to visit and it really helps take the pressure off of me to have to run around and chase the girls every single second!  I am also thankful for my side of the family who gives me sanity by talking to me on the phone!  Normally we try to visit with them each week, but since some of my sister's kids and my mom have been under-the-weather it has been nice to at least have some human contact via the phone lines!

All that said... I have actually been feeling semi-decent the past few days and have been able to enjoy my days a lot more than the past couple of weeks.  We had a bit of a cold spell but when it's nice out we like to go out and fly Eloise's kite!  She does a pretty good job on her own!

 

We've also been enjoying sidewalk chalk!

 

And sunshine!

 

I am looking forward to more sunny days and feeling better!
